Mykola Syadristy Micro Miniatures Museum is a unique cultural space located within the National preserve “Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra”, featuring the works of the world-renowned master of microminiature art, Mykola Syadristy. For more than half a century, the artist has been creating astonishing miniatures entirely by hand, using his own original techniques and extraordinarily precise instruments. It was his art that established microminiature as a distinct artistic genre recognized around the world.
Among the museum’s exhibits are the world’s smallest functioning electric motor, miniature compositions placed inside poppy seeds, and many other works that can only be viewed through a microscope.
Mykola Syadristy is not only an artist, but also a remarkably multifaceted individual: an engineer, poet, researcher of the history of totalitarian regimes, Master of Sports, and absolute champion of Ukraine in underwater swimming. His works have been exhibited worldwide, with the largest collections displayed in Kyiv and Andorra.
In addition to his microminiatures, Syadristy is the author of popular science books and the poetry collection Myt. The museum’s exhibition impresses not only through technical mastery, but also by demonstrating the limitless potential of human patience, imagination, and creativity.
